"Futures" is a breakthrough new album of live improvisations between saxophonist Rhonda Taylor and an interactive performance system developed by Steven Leffue and Grady Kestler.  The electronics are not only generated by processing of the saxophone's material in realtime, but are also generative: creating content according to analyses of texture, saturation, and volume.  

This system was constructed in the pure data programming environment and proposes and new paradigm in interactive live electronics and performance.  The system's unique personality documented here was custom made for Ms. Taylor.
