La Monte Young - Noise Before Noise

I've been obsessed with Terry Riley for the past month. That, of course, lead to La Monte Young, but who would've thought that I'd find this video where using tables, chairs, and benches he envisions a soundscape worthy of even Merzbow.  However, Young wrote his piece in 1960. I'll have to do some further research to see if it's true that this predates other noise concepts by 20 years.
